About Us

The Öresund Triplettes is a Swedish/Danish vocal jazz trio influenced by the swing and boogie-woogie eras in the USA. The concerts offer you charming and energetic swing jazz in the best close harmony style – as we know it from The Andrews Sisters and barbershop. With respect for the tradition The Öresund Triplettes have developed their own unique interpretation of the American styles with a Scandinavian touch.
Welcome to a swinging music experience filled with joy!

Stina Andersdotter

Stina Andersdotter fell in love with Jazz as a little kid when she heard her parents records with Erroll Garner, Monica Zetterlund and Ahmad Jamal. Her relationship with the bass started a little bit later, but she felt right away that it was the right instrument for a groove junkie like her.

Her playing is recognized by the sharp and personal rhythmical language and her voice has a clear, natural character with a genuine and honest expression that reaches out to the listener. With the trio The Öresund Triplettes she combines the two of them, which takes her sound to a new dimension.

Stina began her jazz studies at Fridhems and Lunnevads Folkhögskola and in 2015 she got a bachelors degree in jazz/improvisation at Malmö Academy of Music. Since then she has been a freelance bass player and singer, active in many groups and musical styles. Right now she is playing in groups like Who’s Your Mama, Sallyswag, Sofia Thelin Band, and The Öresund Triplettes.
